rob and darcie were so sweet... they just couldn't take their eyes off each other all day. watching them see each other for the first time was amazing (one of the awesome perks of my job is witnessing love through my lens and showing people their beauty when their guard is let down) they had such a fun casual outdoor wedding: ceremony under a big tree with flowing branches, rich fall colors everywhere, friend and family surrounding them- it was beautiful! this is just a small sample from their day...

100 days and counting...

ok... now I'm gettin' a little personal here, I know, but I have to share one of my great loves in life...

I was raised (now I mean for as long as I can remember) on the Chronicles of Narnia.  I read the books, watched the original cartoon, re-read the books, watched the cartoon again... Loved it!  So when "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" came out a couple years ago, you can bet I was thrilled.  We went to the premiere and got to see the Wardrobe from the movie, some costumes and all kinds of fun stuff used, it was a real treat for a Narnia buff like me! One of the best parts about the making of these movies for me is that I have a dear part of  my own childhood to share with my children in a new and exciting way.  (Oh! and YES! I was a LOTR fan too! - I know it doesn't get much more sci-fi dorky than that, but I warned you I was getting personal! )
